Biochar stove project

Champion stoves

We spent a weekend at the award winning Golden Hill Community Garden in Bristol building a pair of champion biochar stoves with some of the gardens volunteers for them to use for making tea and cooking.  The stoves also make biochar which they plan to use on their gardens after mixing it in with their compost heap in order to charge it with nutrients and beneficial micro-organisms.
